Scholarship title: Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition

The Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition is available to high school juniors and seniors. You must conduct an original research project that investigates the many behavioral, biological, environmental and social factors that affect health. Epidemiology is the science of exploring patterns of disease, illness and injury within populations, with the goal of developing methods for prevention, control and treatment to improve health. You must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Midway, Wake Island or the Mariana Islands. Only one project per applicant will be accepted and team projects are not eligible.
