Scholarship title: Surfrider Foundation Scholarship

The Surfrider Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches, for all people, through Conservation, Activism, Research and Education. Specific attention is placed on the preservation and enhancement of public access to coastal areas; maintenance and improvement of water quality; and the preservation of surf breaks.
Must be a member in good standing of the Surfrider Foundation and embrace the spirit of the Mission and Guiding Principles of the Surfrider Foundation, which guide and govern the activities of the organization. Must be a student enrolled in an accredited College or University (in the U.S. or Internationally) during the upcoming academic year. Undergraduates (of at least Junior standing) with a minimum GPA of 3.4 for all coursework, and graduate students (minimum 9 credits completed) with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.6 are eligible. Both full and part time students are welcome to apply.
Three merit based awards will be made to students who are members in good standing of the Surfrider Foundation, annually, based upon available funds and exceptional applications:
