The HispanicIssues.com Book Scholarship Award is available to Hispanic, Latin-American, Mexican or Puerto Rican students who live in the U.S. and attend or plan to attend a school in the U.S. One or both of your parents must be Hispanic, Latin-American, Mexican, or Puerto Rican. You must also submit an 800 word essay on why you think Hispanic news mediums are important to the Hispanic community. The essay should address the need for Hispanic newspapers, Hispanic magazines, Hispanic news web sites and Hispanic radio.
