Scholarship title: Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Applicable Majors: All Fields of Study

The Gates Millennium Scholars Program is for students who will enroll for the first time at a US accredited college or university in the fall of as full-time, degree-seeking, first-year students. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American. Applicants must have a 3.3 GPA and be US citizens. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities, and meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. The scholarship amount is determined based on financial need, tuition, fees, books, and living expenses for the academic year, as well as the availability of grants and other scholarships reported on the financial aid award letter
