BloodStock is an American Red Cross scholarship opportunity. Student blood drive coordinators will gain a meaningful leadership and community service experience. In addition, blood drive coordinators may become eligible to win a college scholarship, receive a letter of recommendation from the American Red Cross and a $50 gift card!
Blood Drive Coordinator Selection Process and Responsibilities
Students should submit an online application to participate in the selection process. Applicants must be at least 16 years old to participate. Students will be contacted by a local American Red Cross representative who will discuss their potential as a blood drive coordinator.
Selected students will work hand-in-hand with an American Red Cross representative through the blood drive planning process. Students will participate in planning and recruitment meetings and will lead a team of recruiters. A successful blood drive can help ensure a safe blood supply for local hospital patients.
