The Media Plan Case Competition identifies talented undergraduates from across the country and brings the finalists to Washington, D.C. for a week of networking and out-of-the-classroom educational opportunities with organizations such as Google, POLITICO, CNN and The Wall Street Journal. The top finishers also take home a portion of $10,000 in scholarship awards.
At the core, the Washington Media Plan Case Competition is an academic exercise. Teams are expected to abide by the same academic integrity and honesty standards as if they were completing a regular school assignment. Cheating, plagiarism, or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in immediate disqualification from the competition, and future Washington Media Scholars Foundation (WMSF) programs. Participants must be at least 18 years old as of November 30th to participate and each team must consist of two students. Participants may only be a member of one team; however, there may be multiple teams from the same school.
